Business Background

Property Consortium Drainage Ltd (PCD) is part of the Property Consortium Group and became a dedicated company in 2009. As the Group's handling of Drainage and Water Service claims increased from 2001 the new PCD business was developed to handle this specialised and highly technical sector. The business has seen a phenomenal growth since its launch.

The company is based at Culmhead Business Park in Taunton, Somerset and offers a service across the UK including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

Instructing clients are Insurers, Brokers, Intermediaries, Loss Adjusters, 3rd Party Agents, Property Managers and Warranty clients.

PCD has a dedicated Drainage and Water Service Technical Claims Team and works closely with specialist network contractors across the UK.

PCD has a proven practice of individual case ownership providing effective incident management. The provision of a 24/7/365 service dictates that our people can readily access the information they need to continuously support the customer. Workboxes, events trails and diary management tools ensure that customer information and the claims status detail are instantly accessible.

The Group provides a responsible business holding the environmental standard ISO 14001 and IIP. It is also working with Business In The Community as part of a planned approach to CSR strategy.

Management Team

PCD has a strong management structure, led by MD Andy Taylor who has more than 20 years' experience of insurance and construction. Jim Beaumont has 17 years' experience of 'at site' drainage works and audits.
